WELCOME TO KIDS' CORNER!

Kids' Corner exists to expose the 1st-5th grade ages to "The Big Four" of Acts 2:42. In the book of Acts we learn that the Early Church was devoted to the Apostles' teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. These elements of worship and Christian living are so important that ever since the days of Acts, Christians have "devoted" themselves to their practice. While in Kids' Corner, children will be exposed to relevant teaching and activities which will help to cultivate rich lives of devotion and to equip them for encountering God through the Scriptures, other Christians, communion, and prayer.

    Sunday Mornings

Kids' Corner is open during all of our morning services, but each service looks slightly different. During the 8:30am service, the elementary ages will spend time bringing the Bible "Out of the Box". Children will explore the accounts and faith lessons of the scripture for the day by looking for the "Big Ideas" and exploring ways to teach and live them out using everyday objects.

   Second Service

This high energy time we call "Kids' Church" begins at 10:45am. During the service, children will be exposed to "The Big Four" of Acts 2:42 in age appropriate ways designed to set them up for lives of discipleship. The hour is full of high energy praise and worship, great activities to get the kids moving and thinking. This time is lead by many great adult volunteers, and is also a chance for our 4th and 5th grade service group, the K.I.A's, to share the love of Christ with other students by actually leading many parts of the service.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday night is the time for our elementary small groups to meet. This is a time for students to meet and pray together. Bible lessons are geared to life application so that they can begin the process of pursuing their faith outside of church walls.

   Sunday School

Sunday school immediately follows 1st service. Classes are offered in Kids' Corner for first through sixth grade. Our classes are lead by a group of faithful volunteers who are eager to disciple and share the Gospel with kids.

Sunday Evening

PRCC offers adult small groups and children's programming from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The elementary students during this time will be given group activities and projects to work on. They are designed to reinforce previous lessons and to get them thinking critically about many aspects of the Bible. This is a chance for students to explore the pages of scripture with the helpful guidance of an adult. They will also enjoy tasty snacks and fun group games.
